Fall Creek Unit

The announcement:

Assuming the rain is light or missing this weekend, we'll be doing a "Felton or Bust" hike. That's right, we're going to make a third attempt to find the elusive trail that completes the loop. If it rains much, however, we'll probably do a shorter hike at Hidden Villa.

We'll leave here at 9 and begin the hike at about 9:45-ish to 10-ish. This is the same hike as the Challenge Hike, only this time we have a more recent recollection of what's involved. So, bring plenty of water, lunch, and a snack besides. Plan on about 5 hours for the hike, though it may be shorter. No sneakers! It will be muddy going up, and slippery/rocky coming down. If the crowd wants, we may go somewhere locally for a meal afterwards before heading back.
