The Announcement

Yes, this is a double hike weekend. Saturday is Hidden Villa and Sunday is Castle Rock. Both are waterfall hikes. The Saturday hike starts at 10, Sunday starts at 9. Note the difference in the start times.

Both are about 2.5 hours long. Both are moderate, although there may be a smallish-group that will start with us on Saturday and turnaround after doing just an easy leg. This is because there is a visitor out here this weekend that comes out from the east coast once a year and usually joins us on a hike, but the visitor's friend can only do a easy hike. So, if someone wants to do an easy hike, join us Saturday and you can split off with these two other people. But, as usual, call to make sure that the easy hike is still on.
