It seemed like someone else was just operating you via remote control. |

Then we heard a bit of bluegrass music and everything was right again. |
We were part of a community again, we had a common purpose. |

We felt like kicking up our heels and dancing. |
People just, literally, came out of the woodwork to join us. |

Old fences were mended in friendships. |
Only a quack could be unmoved. |
|
|
We bridged the gaps that separated us. |
And, in the end, we each emerged as a new person. |
