Upper Stevens Canyon

It was a day to try to find the infamous "Bessy" -- the creature of Upper Stevens Canyon.	We check the edge of the ponds for large footprints.

We can see the tree fall caused by Bessy waddling along the trail.	Norm leaves no place unsearched.

The trail is strewn with droppings from Bessy.	Peggy examines the swath cut by Bessy as it climbed up out of the creek.

This is the FOMFOK Hiking group located in the San Francisco Bay Area

We hike every weekend, with a mixture of easy, medium, and hard hikes.

We do waterfall hikes early in the year, wildflower hikes in the spring,

and work up the the challenge hike and party in the fall.
