The Announcement

We're thinking of Fall Creek again. This is one of the most beautiful hikes we do - especially in the fall. This is a moderate to upper-end moderate hike (if we do the whole loop). The whole loop will take 4 or 5 hours. If people don't want to do the whole loop, some or all of us will just go up the creek and down again - perhaps waiting to join up with those that do the whole loop.

This is a great place to bring your camera. Even if you don't think you want to hike must or all of the trail, you could come along and shoot hundreds of great pictures down near the beginning of the hike.

We'll leave here at 9 and begin the hike between 9:45 and 10. Plan on 3 to 5 hours of hiking (5 if we do the loop). So, bring a good lunch and maybe a snack or two. Bring plenty of water. Sneakers are a bad idea, even for the short hikes. There are several short, steep sections (even only a few yards long) that are treacherous in sneakers.
