Rating:

Wimble Scale: Easy, Length: 3.5 miles, Climb: 450 feet, Time: 2 hours

The Announcement

Well after Big Basin, no one really wanted to hike last week. I sympathize.

This weekend, we're going to do a hike we've never done before: Calero County Park, south of San Jose. Since we haven't been there, there are no guarantees!

The expectation is that hike will be about 5 miles, with options for shorter loops. Climb will be about 400 feet done twice, for 800 feet total. The views are supposed to be good.

So, meet with us at 9. I expect to start the hike at around 9:45 to 10. Plan on 3 hours total hiking. We'll probably go out to lunch afterwards.
